A Community of Grace

Christ’s abundant and undeserved love towards us (grace) is transforming our relationship with God, with ourselves and with each other. We no longer need to perform, we no longer need to hide, we no longer need to cower in fear. God’s grace gives us the freedom to love and accept ourselves and others right where we are because that’s what He has done for us.  What does this look like here at E Free…

We are all still in process, but we are trusting God to see:

• God at work breaking down walls, restoring relationships, and bringing forgiveness.
• A spirit of humility before God and each other as we recognize that we are “all equal at the foot of the cross”
• True connection in our relationships with one another because we no longer need to hide behind our masks.
• Intimacy with God because we no longer need to live in fear of punishment
• Individuals working through conflict in a manner that is honoring to God
• Hope being restored because our failures are not final.

We are trusting God to make us a Community of Grace by:

Living out our relational commitments

Providing training and ongoing encouragement on what it means to be a community of grace

Encouraging our Life Groups to go through the Peacemaker small group materials

Teaching about God’s overabundant grace towards us through Sunday school classes, small groups, and the preaching of God’s Word.

Talking about God’s grace in our interaction with people inside and outside the church.
