Newcomer Lunch: Are you new to EFree? If so you are invited to a newcomers’ lunch Sunday August 24 after the second service here at church. Enjoy a complimentary lunch and a chance to meet the staff and leaders, hear a little bit about our vision, and find out how you can plug in here at SCEFC. Men's Retreat: Join men from area churches on September 12-14 and learn from speaker Nate Larkin what it means to be a man of integrity. Men's Ministry

Parents Meeting: Do your children attend youth group? If so, you will want to attend the parents meeting next Wednesday at 7pm to discuss the upcoming year. Regular youth group is canceled for that night.

Working Women’s Life Group: Are you a working woman who is interested in being a part of a Life Group but is unable to attend the women's Wednesday morning Bible Study? If you are interested, please contact Peg Ludovina (814-867-1907). The Life Group will be in the evenings and the exact day, time and place will be determined by the members of the group.

Photo Contest: The deadline for the photo contest has been extended to September 30. We are looking for pictures to display in our church and on our website of our church interacting with the community, through work, hobbies, recreation, service etc. How do you interact with the community? Photographers, help us by capturing these moments and you will receive a prize ($15 gift certificate to iTunes, Panera, Walmart or Starbucks) and have your work displayed. Photos submitted may have been previously taken or taken from now until the end of the contest. There;s no limit on how many photos one person can submit. Fall Women's Conference: "Uncommon Beauty" is the theme for an area wide Fall Women's Conference being planned for October 24-25th, 2008. The speaker will be Cynthia Heald, bestselling author and speaker. The cost will be $20/person and $15/student. To register call the church office at 237-8020 and information will be sent to you.
