Children's Ministry

It is our privilege to serve parents and their children at State College Evangelical Free Church! Our goal is to fuel spiritual desire in children by teaching solid biblical concepts that will provide a foundation for a lifetime of getting to know God.

Infant & Toddler Nurseries:

Our Nurseries are available for newborns to three-year-olds. We are pleased to offer a warm atmosphere with volunteers that want to serve you and the Lord. During Sunday morning the nurseries are open from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Preschool Sunday School:

Our Preschool Sunday School includes “3 & 4 years olds” and “5 years olds - Kindergarten”. Children in these classrooms are taught wonderful bible basics using Disciple-Land curriculum. Teachers use a variety of techniques to make this a fun and interactive experience. During the first service students focus on learning a bible story and if they stick around for the second service they will see how to apply the bible in real life situations through our lovable puppets named Dee, Cy, and Paul!

Children's Sunday School:

Our Children’s Sunday School includes “1st & 2nd grade”, “3rd grade”, and “4th & 5th grade” classes. These three classes meet from 9:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. during the first church service. We use Children Desiring God curriculum with the goal of fueling spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ. Children in these classrooms will experience the comfort of a small group while gaining valuable insight from God’s Word. Our first and second graders will be learning about the Attributes of God, third graders will be studying the Promises of God and our fourth and fifth graders will be focusing on the Providence of God.

Children's Church

During our second service children in grades one through five can experience a fun, creative and engaging children’s worship using the Bible Blitz curriculum. Children will enjoy large-group enthusiasm and small-group relationships as they enjoy lively skits, top-notch worship videos, creative activities, and fun games.
